The Journey of Women.

A Collection of Stories Chronicling Women.

This entertaining theatrical production will feature women from early history until today.

"We shall some day be heeded, and everybody will think it was always so, just exactly as... many young people think that all the privileges, all the freedoms, all the enjoyments which women now possess... always were hers. They have no idea... of how every single inch of ground that she stands upon today... has been gained by the hard work of a little handful of women of the past."
Susan B. Anthony

A work in progress, this production has been seen through the years by over 200,000 in audience.  "WE ARE"  was first performed in 1989 for over 1,000  women during the annual government workshops for women in leadership positions.

In 1990, the state of Illinois chose this program to begin a cyber-space experiment during their State Fair. The production was televised via live broadcast in schools throughout the state and then each location was permitted to ask the cast various questions about the program.
The Governor awarded Brevard Theatrical Ensemble a special plaque for the contribution we made to their state.
Over the past 8 years the program has undergone many changes.
We invite you to our newest theme of
